What you need
Your own Twilio account and phone number. Twilio is what lets the AI hold a live, two-way conversation: it listens, answers questions and books, in any country Twilio can call.
Exotel (India only) cannot hold a conversation. On Exotel, a call plays one opening line, can take a keypress or record a short reply (up to 30 seconds), and then hangs up. That suits reminders and confirmations, not sales calls. Exotel also works for click-to-call from Quick Dial.
Connect your provider in AI Voice Calls → Settings. If the provider you picked cannot hold a conversation, the settings page tells you.

Run a call campaign
1Connect a provider and pick a voice
In AI Voice Calls → Settings, add your Twilio details, choose a voice and set your calling hours. You can also turn on a recording-consent announcement.
2Write a script
On Scripts, write a script yourself or let the AI draft one from a short goal, such as "confirm an appointment". A script is a brief: an opening line, the goal, the questions to ask and how to handle objections. The AI talks around it, not word for word.
3Create the campaign
On Campaigns, pick a script, choose who to call, and set calling hours and a daily limit. Numbers on your Do Not Call list are always skipped.
4Start it and follow along
Calls are placed inside your calling window. Unanswered calls are retried, and a customer who asks to be called back gets a scheduled callback. Watch calls live on Live Calls, and read each finished call on Call History.
