SMS is send-only
BeeCastly sends SMS for you. It does not receive SMS. If a customer texts back, the reply goes to your Twilio number, not to your BeeCastly inbox. For two-way chat, use WhatsApp or Live Chat.
What you need
BeeCastly sends SMS through your own Twilio account. You pay Twilio for each message.
You find the Account SID and Auth Token on your Twilio Console dashboard. On a Twilio trial account, you can only text numbers you have verified in Twilio.
Connect Twilio
- Go to Integrations → Channels → SMS.
- Under SMS Provider, pick Twilio.
- Paste your Account SID, Auth Token and Twilio phone number. Write the number with its country code, like
+15551234567. - Click Connect.
- Send a test SMS to your own phone to check it works.
Good to know: the AI Caller reuses these same Twilio details, so you do not need to enter them twice.

Campaigns
Send an SMS to many contacts at once from Campaigns → Broadcasts. Send now or schedule it.
One-to-one texts
Text a single customer from Messages → SMS.
One-time codes
When SMS is connected, booking, form and shop login codes can go out by SMS.
Daily SMS allowance
Each plan has a daily SMS allowance:

Sending to India? Register on DLT
Indian telecom rules ask businesses to register their sender ID and message templates on a DLT portal before sending SMS to Indian numbers. Check the steps with Twilio before you send.
