Overview
Status Studio lets you post a WhatsApp Status from your dashboard, without picking up your phone. You can share the same post as an Instagram Story and a Facebook Story at the same time.
Open it from Messages → Status Studio. Click History at the top to see what you posted before.
Before you start
WhatsApp: link by QR code
A WhatsApp Status can only be posted from a number linked by QR code. Go to Integrations → Channels → WhatsApp and scan the QR code. A number connected only through the Meta Cloud API cannot post a Status.
Instagram and Facebook Stories
Connect Meta in Settings → General → Stories Publishing (Instagram & Facebook), or click Connect Instagram / Connect Facebook inside Status Studio. This is separate from the Instagram DM connection.
The badge at the top of Status Studio shows how many of the three apps are connected.
Post a status
Pick a type
Choose Text, Image or Video at the top of the composer.
Add your content
Text: type up to 700 characters, then pick a background colour and text alignment. Image or video: upload a file, pick one from your Media Library, or use Generate with AI to make an image. You can add a caption of up to 500 characters.
Polish it with AI (optional)
Under AI Actions, tap Improve, Shorten, Professional, Add emojis or Generate to rewrite your text or caption.
Choose where to post
Under Publish to, tick WhatsApp, Instagram and/or Facebook. Only connected accounts can be ticked. For Instagram and Facebook you can write a different caption for each.
Check the preview and post
The Preview panel shows how the post looks on each app. When it looks right, click Broadcast Now.
What you can post
Text
Up to 700 characters on a coloured card. The same card is posted to every app you pick.
Image
JPG, PNG, GIF or WEBP, up to 20 MB. Or create one with Generate with AI.
Video
MP4, MOV or WEBM, up to 90 MB.
Instagram and Facebook crop Stories to a tall 9:16 shape, so keep the important part in the middle.
Who sees your WhatsApp Status
- It shows on your phone under My Status.
- It is also sent to your WhatsApp contacts saved in BeeCastly (up to 500).
- Your phone's own contact list is handled by WhatsApp itself.
- Like any WhatsApp Status, it disappears after 24 hours.
History
See every post
Each post shows whether it went out on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. Click a post for the full details.
Reached
For WhatsApp you see how many contacts the Status was sent to. WhatsApp does not share view counts.
Retry
If an app failed, click Retry to send the post again.
Delete
Removes the post from History and takes down the Instagram and Facebook Stories where possible. A WhatsApp Status cannot be pulled back; it ends after 24 hours.
Good to know
Broadcast Now posts right away. Status Studio does not schedule posts for later.
Generate with AI makes images only, not videos.
To plan and schedule regular feed posts, use Social Media → Social Posts instead.
