Questions people ask
Should I use the official API or the QR code?
The official WhatsApp Business API is the reliable choice for campaigns and automations, and it is what Meta supports. Linking by QR code uses WhatsApp Web: it is quicker to set up, but Meta does not support it for bulk messaging and a number can be restricted.
Do message templates need approval?
Yes. Campaign templates are submitted to Meta and can be sent once approved. Replies inside a customer's 24-hour window can be free text.
Who pays for WhatsApp messages?
On the official API, Meta charges its own per-message fees to your Meta account. Your BeeCastly plan sets how many WhatsApp conversations you can run each month.
