Questions people ask

Which barcode should I use?

Code 128 works for any text, such as SKUs and order numbers. EAN-13 is the 13-digit product barcode printed on retail packs.

Can I sell products in shops with my own EAN-13 number?

For products sold in other shops and online marketplaces, the number must be registered with GS1. Your own numbers are fine for labels inside your store.

Will a phone or scanner read it?

Yes. Every barcode follows the standard, and we test the output with a barcode reader.
